SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (PUBLICIST) - FILM, TELEVISION, DIGITAL MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY PRACTICE AREAS

MPRM Communications, serving the multi-screen world of media and entertainment, is seeking passionate, creative public relations professionals with a minimum of four years publicity experience working on campaigns for feature films, television/cable series, corporate, technology, consumer electronics, online video and mobile accounts.

Candidates must have strong trade and consumer press relationships in film, television and/or digital media & technology areas. Corporate experience is a plus. Social media acumen and excellent writing skills are a must. Responsibilities include writing and media outreach, client management, strategy and message development. Public Relations Intern

Wage/Credit:    College credit
Days/ Hours:     2 - 3 full days per week

Qualifications:    

Ability to interact in a fast-paced public relations office.  Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communications skills mandatory. Must be detail-orientated and able to juggle several tasks at once.

Job Description:

Assist with general public relations activities including distributing press materials, updating database press lists and editorial calendars, maintaining our library of publications, collateral materials, press clippings for clients, writing press materials and more. Interns also have the opportunity to participate in media events and assist with film screenings and premieres. Interns are rotated throughout the three practice areas of the company – Film, Home Entertainment & Events, and Digital Media & Technology – to insure a broad spectrum of experiences. Applicant must be completing their undergraduate requirements and commit to a minimum of 2-3 full days per week (work days MWF or TR from 9 am – 6 pm) PLEASE INDICATE WHICH DAYS YOU CAN WORK.
